Whatever your cycling preferences are, there is much to discover and enjoy within pedalling distance of the village. Quiet roads and stunning scenery make the upper Towy valley an ideal area for both the novice and more experienced cyclist – on or off road. For mountain bikers, the nearby Doethie valley boasts what is said to be the longest single track in Wales that nature has to offer, whilst on our doorstep is the purpose built Cwm Rhaeadr trail described by MBR magazine as “one of the best trails we’ve ridden anywhere in the UK”.

Other mountain bike trails in the area include Brechfa, Esgair Dafydd, Irfon Forest, Mynydd Trawsnant and Coed Trallwm.

If you want to just go off and explore, there are countless forestry fire roads, lanes and bridleways in the immediate vicinity to suit everyone.

For further details, we suggest you browse the Internet:- there’s masses of ideas, pictures, videos and information out there on how to get the most out of our beautiful valley. Enjoy.
